Mohair and angora goats have played a massive part of the family culture for almost 2 centuries.
Angoras mostly farmed in the Karoo, most arid location throughout the Eastern Cape of South Africa, notorious for drought. Even in this climate, the goats flourish grazing in the veld or feeding on lucern.
